It's frickin hard you know :( Trying to smoke but i just hate it, i'll be lucky if i can get a decent 10 a day habbit by the end of the spring!

Any tips or advice on starting smoking? Should i start on patches perhaps and work up to light ciggies, then onto full strength?

Giving up not smoking is really hard 8O

i hear the dangers of non-smoking are quite serious, try harder N8.

and remember non smoking when pregnant may harm your baby ;)

Yup, my non-smoking habit is really taking effect on my health. I woke up this morning after not having twice as many fags yesterday as I'd not had the day before and my lungs were still all free and healthy, as though there was no tar in them at all! It was a terrible - I ran downstairs to make a cup of tea and I didn't even wheeze!

At this rate I'll have full lung capacity until I'm 80

Well I took the plunge. I gave up not smoking 17 years ago and haven't looked back since. I'm proud to say that I realized as a teenager the dangers of non smoking, including increased stress, excessive athletic ability and idle hands. Now, I keep those hands busy and stress levels down with a pack a day

You know, you've just got to hold on. You've got to make your decision and stick to it. That's what I did. Every day is a struggle... when you can't run more than 100 meters or you get a hacking cough you think... maybe it's not worth it. But I've got to say the enjoyment I get out of not non-smoking far outweighs the costs!

It's all a matter of how strong your will power is.

I've been smoking for 8 years in a raw and then suddenly one day i woke up and decided to quit it, then so i have, without touching a cigarrete ever since (well only when i'm mashed and just a few sniffs ;) )

It's going terribly here, I can tell you. 12.43pm and I'n no nearer to lung cancer than when I got up this morning!
