Can anyone recommend a good foundation?

Don't want to look caked but need something with a bit more coverage than my usual tinted moisturiser.

I've tried clinque, mac and benefit ones but wasn't too keen!

Ta :D

I use Clinique Almost Make-Up but it's more of a tinted moisturiser so might be too light for you :?

The Boots No 7 tinted moisturiser is REALLY good, have you tried it, it's not as light as a lot of tinted moisturisers.

I used to use it years ago - will have a look thanks!:D

Its annoying I need something with a bit more coverage but don't want to look like i've been caked in make up! Plus i'm getting my hair dyed black tomorrow so don't want to look like a goth!!

Jesse, i use the Boots No7 Intelligent colour foundation and its totally fab, it blends to your skin tone so it looks like your not really wearing any with it still giving total coverage. Its £12.50 and it lasts for ages too because you only need a bit ;)

Thanks used to use that one as well but have been using dermologica for a while... think i'll just go into debenhams tomorrow with my new hair and go to all the make up counters and try them out!!!:D

ooooh can I jump in please with my two penneth worth!!!

I hate foundation and I have really never found one that suits my skin, I dont like tinted moisturisers either because they just look greasy on me.

HOWEVER, the best good priced foundation I have found is

Rimmel Recover - the one Kate Moss advertises - its fab, your skin looks amazing, really dewy hydrated and refreshed and believe you me I have even had compliments at 5.00am in the morning on how not wrecked I look whilst clubbing..... its amazing for the following day if you need to go out of the house too..... cant recommend it enough....

Failing that - Clarins is my splurge foundation...

Jess I don't use foundation. I and have done since I started using makeup use rimmel concealer and have now started using ID Bare powder. The powder has pure micronised minerals, which is good for the skin. Lets your skin breathe or somthing like that innit! A gimmick, who knows?????

You can purchase from here
