Getting to Benirras

I am very keen to get to Benirras this year, but am unlikely to hire a car - I've never driven a left hand drive before but more importantly I think it does you good to have to get by without one for a few weeks of the year. So the question is how difficult will it be to get to Benirras? If I was to get the bus to Puerto San Miguel, is walking an option? If not, are taxis easy to come by in that part of the island? What about getting back? Maybe I will have to bite the bullet and see about getting a car for one day.

Switching sides (for driving!) isn't half as hard as you'd think.

I went to S Africa year before last and adjusted right away. Only twice over the course of a week did I make a turn into the wrong lane - both times in a rural area... it's much easier when there's lots of other cars around.

You can rent a car just for a couple of days if you don't want to for the whole trip.
