Getting from SA Bay to SA Town?

Hi there,

I was hoping someone could help me.

I'm going to Ibiza for the first time this summer with 8 friends, and after looking in to it we thought San Antonio would be ideal for us. Despite this my friends went ahead and booked up a hotel in San Antonio Bay! It seems a long, long way from where we would have the most fun. After two amazing years in Zante staying right by the main strip I'm a bit worried about this as it will be a long walk home, but anyway the important thing is I'll be in Ibiza!

I just wondered if anyone knows the best ways of getting in to SA Town? I've heard there is a water taxi is this true? And does it run regularly?

Hi.

There is a water taxi but it doesnt run all through the night I dont think so you would have to either get a taxi back, or walk.

Depending on which part of the Bay it is it might not be too much of a walk.

Beware of people's estimates on walking times though, I've always found it to be at least double what others have said!
 
the bay is a very large area and depending on your location it could be close or miles 8O

taxi will be dirt cheap though between 8 or 4+4

We're staying at the Club Nereida, which is right down the far end of the bay and im seriously worried its gonna be full of families and couples that won't appreciate a group of blokes! But if theres taxis and buses it wont be so bad. Thanks for the help everyone!
 
We stayed at the Hawaii hotel in the Bay and we walked to San An most nights for various bars/coach pick ups etc etc.

It was only about a 10 min walk, maybe 15 to get right to the end of it. But then we never went as far as Kanya, that area, right on the beach so that could be even longer. But its not like its not enjoyable, its not like here where you wouldnt dream of walking at night because of the cold/need a coat/rain etc etc ;)
