Getting Around

Hi

I am going to San Antonio Bay for a 5 night holiday on 29 June, and wondering what the best way to get about is? It is just my sister and I, and we do want to go to clubs some evenings, so wonder how is the best way to get to these? Pacha for example.

Disco bus is free and regular with a club ticket, You can use the bus station in San an to get to Ibiza town and explore further if you like.

Getting from san an bay into san an itself the water taxis are a good option buses in general are a good cheap way to get to most places.

£20 in a taxi to Pacha from San Antonio, hassle free and you can always find people to share if you need to.

When weve stayed in san an before now, we catch the no 8 bus to ibiza town, few drinks in town then pacha and [taxi] home, taxi is the easiest way but it can get a bit pricey going out 4 or more club nights a week,spent a fortune on taxis before now!

The number 3 bus (daytime) is just 2 euros from San An to Ibiza town, but the disco bus (night time) is 3 euros. Never had trouble with the bus service in Ibiza. It does get very crowded and noisy at night, but that is half the fun! Last year a sexy dame sat on my lap for the entire journey. Best bus ride ever!

The real 'disco bus' is different to a courtesy bus available to you when you've spent money on drinks and tickets etc.

Personally we get tickets in ibiza theres at least ten ticket places on every street,most hotel receptions sell club tickets too, usually at online prices, plus line ups do change..Then we just say.. Right!!!...whats the best night?.....thats the way we do it.

Perhaps consider getting at least your 1st nights tix on spotlight. No faffin' around when your a first dayer and done that excitable get pis$ed.

people mostly have their plans split up into 'sure' and 'maybe' nights.

for the sure ones, there is no reason not to buy them in advance. it's not cheaper on the island, you don't waste time running after tickets and you also need less cash when in ibiza.

I highly recommend getting your club tickets from Spotlight. I get all of mine here. Never had any problems. Avoid all the queues and go straight in. Nightclubs fill up pretty quickly, especially Pacha.

Ha - not for other road users it isn't!! I'm bad enough on UK roads, think I'll stick to the busses!
