Getting around Formenterra

Hopefully taking the ferry to Formenterra next week. It there a moped hire shop near by the port at Formenterra?
 
Yes there are my friend, just be careful of the roads when riding as they become quite slippery in the heat as I found out last year :(

Yes! The port is full of hire shops. Be very carfull, the mopeds to hire have small wheels and they are less stable than the others. Also the pavement isn't the best.

If youre feeling fit, hire a bike... But remember it'll then take about 30 mins to find a good beach..
 
i can't drive....does anyone think it would be unsafe for me to get a wee moped in formentera....

i'm thinking they can't be that complicated??

Don't do it. Those moppeds are not a bike, you can loose control easely, the pavement isn't the best, the moppeds to hire have small wheels that make them more unestable.

Last ferry is at 21.45, so if you don't arrive too late you have enough time to go to Migjorn (my fav beach) or Illetes by bike.

They usually ask for a driving licence when you hire a moped.
