Gatecrasher @Eden - avoid

Went to Gatecrasher in between Tiesto and Subliminal, only because my mate wanted to see every club.

Full of 17/18 year olds, cheesy dance music and Dave Pearce DJ'ing made for a horrible night. They had even installed a ****ty ice cannon to copy Amnesia but ti was like someone sneezing on the dance floor. Also only 1/4 of eden was open.

Only good point was talking to the DJ in the funky room for a bit.

Not normally one to have a go at stuff but this really was bad.
 
eden is the second ****test club in ibiza and gatecrasher should give up, it's over
 
the only night at eden that interests me is Judgement Sundays, missed it this year though.

Oh and our of interest, the previous poster said that ''eden is the 2nd worst club'' whats the worst then? El Divino? Es Paradis? Pacha? DC10? Cause its certainly not Space, Amnesia or Privilege...

How can you put Privilege above Pacha :cry: I love Pacha!!!
 
Everyone has a different idea of whats good and whats not. Go whereever you want and make your own mind up.

We loved it in Eden for Garlands (wed) and it was cheesy as hell.

p.s. hated Pacha
 
I have to agree that Gcr at Eden is absolute pants. I was a Gcr regular at republic in sheffield for years and I was soooo peed off when I went to Eden cos its just a ****e Dave Pearce night-not Gcr at all.
Best 2 nites at Eden are Judge Sunday and Garlands. Garlands is such good fun, even if it is cheesy! and JS has some good guests on which makes it worth going to.
 
In my eyes the only club and club day/night worth going to is Space on a Sunday.....if I ever went back this is the only one I'd entertain.

I am not advising not to go to Eden - I am sure other nights are good, I liked Judgement Sunday last year and my g/f said she liked some of the other nights when she was there in June.

I just wanted to give a bit of a warning about Gatecrasher - that it is nothing like all the other club nights that I have been to in Ibiza. The main dance floor was shut and blocked off, only a small area by the entrance was open.

The individual elements weren't that bad but the problem was that they were all combined into one night (Dave Pearce, cheesy dance music, 17/18 year olds, tiny area of club open, very small (embarrasing) ice cannon).

It felt like a school disco for kids.

I thought that the whole club would be open to be honest. The only reason I went was because my mate wanted to see all the clubs but I guess I expected it to be similar to Judgement Sunday but with cheesier music and a bit less busy.

I expected it to be very English dominated as drawn in by the Gatecrasher name but that is also what I expected about HedKandi after reading reviews etc.
