First time in Shine - first time in Ireland! Great time .

Flight arrived early. Got to the venue before it opened and ended up in some dodgy as f*** bar having a few before the club opened.

Nice venue, good size Good lighting. Sound was decent too

Got inside- Never left the room which Garnier was in all night. (wanted to check out the scratch perverts and Alan Simms again but couldnt get off the dance floor).

Garnier's set;
Some obvious predicatables (Crispy Bacon, Blur, Seven Nation Army, Teen Spirit, Donna Summer, Bit of Mathew Jonson, the Nancy Sinatra track that he's been playing for the last couple of months, some trancey tunes (anyone notice him playing more trance recently) -(Age of Love) -went right off.
Some chunky tunes which I have no idea what they were but made me bounce about
Some wicked Dj Marky track that I cant remember the name of but have quality videos of the room going mad too
And Blue Monday as the one more last tune

Friendly bastards in the club as well

Absolutely f***ing TOP! :p

Shine f***ing Rocks! 8)

(and they have really good looking females - bonus!) :twisted:

Looking forward to next time (except the flying home trashed malarky -that was shit)

For some reason I can remember something called 'Jug of Fat Frog' :eek: :confused: :?:

:D glad u enjoyed it, Shine is great always guaranteed a good night in there, didnt leave Mandela Hall either all night, was great. Fat Frogs are lethal lol :lol:

Sounds very similar to his set in Glasgow the night before.

Although we had strange George W Bush/Tony Blair visuals at the start. :eek:

i've noticed that he is very political with some of his music. One of his new tracks "First reaction" was made right after the first french presidential election ballot . He says that his bbc mix in his excess luggage cd represents his disgust to the election ballot. He also played Vulture in this mix, which he describes as another word for death.

Excellant night nice meeting you Nish just finally recovered today and looking forward to Felix da housecat this week
