Has anyone been to the garlands night yet?
i go to the on in liverpool uk and its great, just hoping it will be like the once back home or even better.

I went to the 2003 and last years party, 2003 was better because of the huge pre-party they had at Kanya.

Its a mix of people and they are generally nice, good music too.

You wont be disapointed

The free parties 2 years ago were ace. I havent been the club night in Ibiza though so cant comment about that.

Garlands always fun and quite messy..... Kanya pre-parties were some of the funniest....

Was talked into Garlands opening at Eden last year based on the pre-party shennanigans - promptly left after 20 minutes as it was empty

Year before it was packed, so I guess it's hit and miss.

I went to the opening last wednesday. I had a really good night. I was pleasently surprised. Felt quite commercial at times but was really good and the back room was Ibiza classics 8)

There 'War Baby' theme was quite a laugh. The club was busy but not rammed. Plenty of room to move about apart from the main dance floor. Its the first time I been back in Eden for at least 2 years.

Would defo go back in September. Bonus was also that tickets were only €15 which included a free drink in Eden.

:)

Last time I was there, they only opened half the club, it was that empty  (That was opening night also)

Was the full club open this time :?: Or partitioned off again :?:
Cheers :D

The last time I was at Eden was in 2003 was for Retro and the club had been partitioned off and only half was open.
Last week for Garlands opening the whole club was open. I got there about 2am and it was busy. I heard some workers at Orange Corner saying that if it was not busy Eden were going to close at 5am. That did not happen.

8) Cheers for the update :D

Hopefully this season will be a little busier then; judging by your note and a few other notes I've read on the boards lately.

Glad you had a good time - I can't wait for my turn in Septemeber. :D

Will most likely be returning to garlands this year-

Last year- i stayed in the back room for he majority of the night-in september there was one of the best classics dj ive seen for ages apart from the one and only Paul Taylor.-

Wasn't impressed with the back room myself. The music was a bit hard and it was full of smickos (that's chavs if you're English). Main room was great though. In response to above posts, it was full enough to look full but not so full you couldn't breathe and it wasn't partitioned.

Edens majority is smickos- best just seeing right through it!!! the majority of them are there to party 2!!!!

Agree with the chavs. Loads of blokes walking about in shorts and stripey tops etc.

I sometimes wish they did have a dress code in Ibiza
