Does anyone have any knowledge or recommendation of either of these hotels?? Like the location of the Sirenis but Garbi is looking pretty nice. Gonna be staying half board so hoping the food is gonna be enjoyable although know it aint gonna be gourmet at either hotel. For anyone that's stayed at either of these hotels did the rooms have a fridge and was wi-fi available (free).?

well you mean the sirenis hotel goleta tres carabelas & spa vs the garbi.both in there rights have different things to offer.
both have wifi and fridge in room .garbi was refiited a few years ago so very modern looking.garbi food is not all that good.younger crowd as well in the heart of pdb.

i stay in the tres carabelas great views.two pools full gym and spa to use,You have to pay for afew things.food is very good. fresh meat/ fish cooked in front of you.ok a little further to walk to get to bars.just a matter of choice and money i guess.
what date you looking at.

Cheers guys just the kind of info I was after 8).

Heading out August 9th for two weeks. To be honest I prefer the location of the Sirenis, I like to be close to the promenade at Figueretas for chilled brekkies and quiet nights etc, and not to far from Ibiza town either.

I've stayed in the street that runs from Sirenis to Figueretas twice and stayed in Figueretas as well (Luxmar). Food at Luxmar was rank . Quite happy to spend a bit more this trip but want to make an informed decision rather than booking the Garbi cos it looks smart. I might add that we won't be eating in the hotel every night but we do want the food to be tasty and reasonable on the nights we will eat in. Not sure I want to be right in the middle of all the husstle of D'en Bossa compared to the quieter area of the Sirenis, quite happy to walk/taxi to D'en Bossa when having a big nightout before the clubs etc

Planning on making this booking tomorrow so feel free to put your tuppence worth in :)

make sure when you book you get the tres carabelas hotel part.its only a less than 10 min stroll into pdb anyway.staff are very good on desk.book you a taxi etc.10 euro hire of beach towel which you can change when ever.you get 10 euro back anyway.mixed hotels mainly from italy.but they are ok.few brits.full gels in bathroom/hairdryer.
make yourself a vip member before you leave.so nexttime you get loads of benifits.free safe/cheaper phone calls etc.

do want i do sometimes have a soup for starters or just fill up a bit.then later eat out.
bearfast till 10.30 am.so you should at least get something to eat.supermarket just up the road.

pool gate shut at night.guards walking round.use card to open gate in day.get a few cards so you can leave one in slot in room for aircon.

cruzcampo beer served in bars.at least round pool you can see both planes and boats coming in.great views as well of pdb beach.just about hear space and bora bora beach bar somedays.pumping out the tunes.and you can see the ladys walk passed underneath footpath.

i am not under minding the garbi.great hotel now after its refit.for which i was invited to opening night to view.but for me tres carabelas suits my needs.

I'm partial to Garbi myself. Stayed there in each of the past 7 years. Few complaints.

Great location, free wifi, nice pool area, right on the beach.

The aforementioned retrofit was nice. They've got a new little tapas restaurant out front too.

Make sure you ask for a room with sea view.

What's the difference between tres carabelas and the goleta? Is it the same hotel but different buildings on the same complex? Or do they have seperate facilities and restaurant etc?

Cheers for the replies

Sorry I've just sussed out the answer to my questions above by reading the jet2 website for this hotel.
