Garbi hotel

hello all
am looking for a bit of advice about Garbi... looks like we might book there this september, as Jet is apparently booked up. Can anyone let me know what the place is like... thinking about how we're going to be perceived by the staff etc when we come back froma club at 7am with our eyes out on sticks, with a few randoms in tow?!
Am used to staying at Jet, which is great obviously because you can just walk straight up to your apartment from the street. Are there many clubbers at Garbi or is mainly a family place?
cheers peeps :)

my gf and me will be staying at Garbi next week (Gosh, I'm off to Ibiza on Sunday:lol: )...will let you know how it was, we're into clubbing as well...and yes, I hate family hotels too but I don't think Garbi's one of these...cheers

Well 1 reason to stay in the Garbi in sept, is because I will be there ! hee hee just kidding.....I read all the reviews on here before I booked it and seemed to be mostly positive. So I think it should be good. Don't really know too much about it, but it looked ok from the pics, but then again sometimes pics are misleading.

ive stayed there and its very recommended. staff are cool, the appts are great (much nicer than jet's) there's a nice pool, a bar/restaruant on the beach and you get breakfast (which aint great tbh)

I've stayed there 2 years in a row and I think it's one of the best value for money propositions around. It's right on the beach. Many rooms have a sea view. Breakfast included (though I had it only once this trip). Twin beds. The rooms are just the right size, with kitchenette, bathroom, and a nice large balcony for lounging outside. Beer fridge very nice to have. The staff are usually helpful (though we did have one key recoding incident this last trip) and friendly. They're always hosting events for the older guest and kids in the large bar/function room, but you can avoid that easily. Large pool area. Wi-fi in the lobby bar if you've got your notebook along... I even got a signal on my room's balcony! All in all, recommended.

I've stayed there for the last 3 trips and I'm going again next week (woohoo!) It's really laid back and I didn't feel that there was any problem at all with rolling back at dawn. They'd probably rather have that than you coming back pissed and shouting.

Garbi or Algarb

Me and the fiancee are trying to decide between this and the Fiesta Algarb, Garbi is slightly more pricy and you don't get half board but sounds cool.
What about the Fiesta Algarb? Has anyone stayed there at all?
