Galaxy In Ibiza 2005
Live broadcasts back to the UK with the summer�s breaking tunes and best loved anthems? Exclusive parties with the coolest and most credible record labels? Up close and personal with some of the world�s biggest DJs and chart topping artists? That�ll be Galaxy in Ibiza 2005.
Galaxy will be in Ibiza from Friday, 29 July, to Monday, August 1 making this the sixth celebrated year on the island for the UK�s biggest commercial radio youth network.
There�ll be broadcasts back to Galaxy�s 2.6 million listeners capturing the atmosphere that makes the white isle the most important place to be this and any summer. And for those lucky enough to make it to the jewel of the Mediterranean we�ll be hosting a series of exclusive parties.
The Galaxy in Ibiza weekend kicks off on the Friday with a private and exclusive invite-only party with Hed Kandi at a secret venue with resident DJs and residents artiste PAs.
On the Saturday, Galaxy�s latest signing, bargrooves hosts a party at Savannah on San Antonio�s sunset strip. Residents will be playing an evening set of the finest of the best in laid back sophisticated deep house joined by high profile guests. The night will be rounded off as the party moves on to a private Galaxy and bargrooves party in an Old Ibiza Town cocktail bar - a bar that is a well kept secret with the Jaggers! 8)
We�re going to make history on the Sunday when twice MOBO Award winner, Steve Sutherland plays the best of R�nB and Hip-Hop for the first time ever at a legendary House venue. Steve will be joined by chart-topping artistes who will be performing on the night.
The Galaxy in Ibiza 2005 weekend draws to a close on Monday, August 1 with Galaxy resident, Roger Sanchez. We�ll be broadcasting live from Pacha as The S Man takes his place behind the decks for another legendary �Release Yourself� party.
