FROM LONDON PICADELLY TO STANSTED

Early like f*ck in the morning. Have to be at the airport check in around 5.30 at latest! Do peeps know if there are any shuttles, trains so early in the morning, departing from London? let us know plz!

For Stansted you have to get the overground Stansted Express train from Liverpool Street station. I'm not sure how early the Stansted Express starts but if you check www.railtrack.co.uk and go to timetables you should be able to get times for your day of travel.

If you're flying back at the wkend, the tubes don't start running til about 6am on a Saturday morning and 7am on a Sunday morning so you will have to get taxi from Picadilly to Liverpool Street.

Yay should have said that, isn't Stansted in deepest darkest Hertfordshire or is it Essex :? Wherever it's a bloody trek, I used to go part that way to work IG from West London and it used to take me 2 hours on tubes and train :roll:
 
Calling luton and stanstead 'london' airports is a bit of a joke really :roll:

Cos people who don't know them think they're actually flying into FLT :? :lol:

London Gatwick isn't much better, altho the Gatwick Express does run thru night to Victoria and only takes 20 mins.
 
thanks peeps! We might have trouble, as accorg to the timetable trains from Liverpool to Stansted only start operating around 8 in the morninand a cab would be ruining us. we really need to think it thru!

They def start running before 8am. I've caught it enough times myself.

Remember you need to book taxi from Picadilly to Liverpool Street as well ;)
 
The airport where i live Margate Kent is Called London Manston Airport

its miles away !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
yeah the hotel can probably manage that for us! Cant believe we are going home that early, but 2 peeps on a plane and with return tickets for an entire amount of 110 Euros - you cant beat that!!!!
 
LIVERPOOL ST........

8) TRAINS FROM liverpool st finish around midnightish i think,but there are buses running from liverpool st to stanstead running every 30 mins,after 12.30 till 4.30??.check stanstead exp website,its got the details.now.......if you can get a nightbus from piccadilly to trafalgar sq,cost 1 quid.....and then the no 11 bus onwards to liverpool st.im gonna be in ibiza 21st april,and i basically have an early morning flight too,same route,ill keep ya posted on how it went.a black cab from piccadilly to liverpool st would cost about 15-17 quid depending on traffic. cheers bigwick :lol:ps.heres a thought......if theres 2-3 of you going to stanstead,catch the no 73 bus at piccadilly,upto stoke newington,get off at the jolly butchers pub(just around corner from church st)pop over to eagle cabs office,next to jolly butcher,and they will take you to stanstead for 35 quid!!!!plus the 1quid you spent on yer busfare.
 
aww thaks but I think we sorted things out. with all our louggage and not to mention bags from Topshop, Kookai and something from Bond Street Ill be carriying, Im sure we´ll need a taxi to liverpool and then on from there to Stansted on the 4.30 train!

You'll be wanting a taxi to Liverpool STREET -this is quite important because if you get one to Liverpool it will probably cost about £500 :lol: :lol: :lol:
