thxxx guys....

think the hardest part is getting a direct flight to europe.

find out which european cities fly to ibiza, and work back from there.

Try http://planeair.com if your looking for cheap international tickets. I think they have a pretty good price. What I'musing to fly from rome. Just tell her to keep searching and she will soon see what the bottom going rate is. You can sometimes get another 10 to 15 percent knocked off the price if you are willing to dicker with a travel agent. hopes this helps!

She should check with the american companies United, Delta, American because they fly from Miami or Atlanta to the entire Latin America (including Central America) and then take a connection flight to Ibiza.

She can also check for herself the software Amadeus that shows the cheapest available itinerary for the period.

She could also check with Mexican Airlines and Comalapa.

thx ppl fopr ur feedback ;)

dicker ?! easy with the vocab :S sry i dont get it lol

would u elaborate some more on this pls..

The Amadeus software is an airline and agency program (Lufthansa is the creator) its basically a reservations system...don't know how she would have access to it unless she works with a travel agent or an airline directly. As far as getting from ElSalvador best bets would be thru Miami with AA or CO or to try to get something to possibly Ecuador or Colombia..from there she can go direct with Iberia to Madrid...to try to bring it down some she may want to take additional connections to get the price lower....in that case she can take a commuter flight to Colombia or Venezuela, catch British Air to London and then fly from there to Ibiza. In any and all cases, make sure to remind her to check if she will need any transit visas for going through any of the above mentioned countries. I'm not sure if you mentioned what passport she holds but the States and the UK (if she routes either way) are pretty sticky on Visas these days!

Hope this helps!!

There's a Brazilian website with a link to Amadeus. You go to www.jollytur.com.br and click the link:

Vôos e Tarifas
Consulte vôos e tarifas online - Veja mais detalhes.

It opens a applet to the Amadeus software. It's in Portuguese, but most of the data of input are well known:

De = from
Para = destination
Data de saída = departure date
Data de Retorno = arrival date
ida = one way
ida e volta = round trip

It will show you all the available flights and different itineraries and it shows you the cheapest fairs.

I honestly have to say its a toss up between Toronto and Montreal...Montreal has a couple of things that we don't : first is a later last call at the bars and clubs, and second they have a more prominent European influence. Toronto is soo BIG CITY that we lost a lot of our Euro-flair; well its hidden, not totally lost. Vancouver is beautiful but very laid back compared to the other two. It depends on what you're looking for. Here, you will find everything and anything that will remind you of where ever you call home. Thats the good thing about Toronto; you will always find a neighbourhood or street or certain little shop that takes you back to a familiar cultural place. If you ever get the chance to visit, don't pass it up! You can always take the train to Montreal as its only about 4.5hrs away!

The airport Barajas in Madrid is the most important connection between Europe and South and Central America. He probably can get a flight to Madrid, and from Madrid to Ibiza.

Check out the Iberia, Spanair or Air Europa websites. Or maybe there's some Southamerican company which operates this line.

will do.. ill let her check into that and hopfuly she'll find a good deal.. so far, she found something for around $800 round trip from ElSalvador-ibiza-ElSalvador... if im not mistaken, she'll be coming through London..

Nadia,
thxx for the info ;) ill make sure when i get to canada to visit all 3 (Vancover, Toronto, Monti)... who knows, maybe ill have the chance to buy u a round of drinks to return the favour ;)

thxxx 2 all for the info... if there are more, gimme gimme gimme ;)

No problem at all and I will be holding you to your drink offer!! Hahaha!! Just make sure if you come you avoid winter time like the plague. Anytime from May to September for Toronto or Montreal would be tolerable!!
