friday 20th London - advice

could anyone give me some recommendations for places to go tomorrow night in London?

preferably not south of the river
not looking for full on rave as some of the people we're with aren't into it
some decent bars to start would be good
pref not D&B ie not fabric
even if its just an area that'd be handy

any help would be appreciated

Shoreditch has some good bars, definitely a place to start your night and you may well stumble across a night worth dancing to. We went there just before Xmas, spent a few hours doing a bar crawl before finding a place with a few floors and decent tunes! Cant remember what it was called unfortunately!

Bar wise The Horse & Groom or The Queen of Hoxton in Shoreditch are spot on musically, club wise XOYO & EGG both have strong lineups tomorrow.

Dalston/London fields not a bad shout…quite a few cool little restaurants and microbreweries etc.

Also, this place is pretty cool...http://www.thepaperworks.co.uk…then if you fancied it you could head to Tief at Corsica Studios which has Prosumer & Pepe Bradock tomorrow. Or you could maybe start at paperworks and then head north/east later on?

looking like starting Hackney downs/brewery area and then making way into Shoreditch to either Queen of Hoxton if it's not too busy, if so we'll go Horse and Groom.

Student guest list for Egg as an after hours back up. - that's what an NUS extra card is for, even if you are 31!
