Tickets are now on sale for the first Freeze event of 2014. We can now reveal the record label and artist behind that party as the Liverpool promoters will once again team up with Bedrock records and John Digweed, with the April 26th showcase the chance to witness the DJ in his full glory once more.
Digweed's command of a DJ booth is unquestionable. Since exploding onto the global consensus twenty years ago, he's been an unrivaled ambassador for electronic music at it's most hypnotic. Tunneling techno, meticulously crafted melodies, trippy sonics and groove heavy house all form the cornerstone of a sound worshiped by hundreds of thousands of dance music fans.
He will be playing an extended set as part of a ten hour special which will see the club open at 10pm to 8am, with special guest Ellen Allien taking the night to its conclusion after Digweed. Boss of the BPitch Control label, Ellen's techno is in worldwide demand right now and Freeze are delighted to showcase her Freeze debut and first Liverpool show in over 5 years. Freeze resident Jemmy will also play - check his mix - http://www.mixcloud.com/skiddle/skiddle-mix-002-jemmy-freeze/).
The venue is to be The Garage, a Greenland St Warehouse, once again returning to Liverpool's Baltic triangle, the current creative hub of the city.
