Free Events?

I have been scanning through here, but I'm not familiar with a lot of the events (American noob here, sorry). Can we start a thread for just the free, daytime events? Thanks!
 
all the stuff listed on "Daytime and Bar Events" is free entry except ocean beach and some of the events at las dalias!

for some of the events at ibiza rocks house you'll need guestlist to get in (the e-mail is in the thread somewhere) and for lio you'll need to dress proper nice...
 
bm is free entry yes. there is no official dress code, but you'll feel out of place if you arrive underdressed

Does that hold true on the weekends too? I noticed a Sci-tec event Sunday July 19th. They wanted 2K for a table. I can't imagine they are just letting folks in for free on a day like that.

Why would you pay entry to sit, eat and drink on a public beach restaurant?
There are a couple of 'beach' (not really) places that do charge entry (behind the glass)

I'd say 75% of the crowd don't care what event it is and about half of them will never even have heard of sci-tec before...
 
What's the best way to get there without driving from San Antonio...how much is cab would you say?
