Fortaleza, Brazil

Unfortunately I have never been to Ibiza even I've been travelling a lot (Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Egypt, almost all European countries), but my BIG FAVE is Fortaleza in Brazil.
Good clubs, amazing loooooong white sandy beach and crystal clear sea, GREAT people, good food and it's VERY CHEAP. I bought lots and lots of designer stuff (Lacoste, Hilfiger, Prada, you name it) which I can't afford in Europe. I even visited in local Favela (shanty town) and the people were amazingly friendly even they were poor.

I recommend Brazil (Fortaleza) to everyone! :D

Now I know what Conrado was doing in Fortaleza!!!!! And he said it was a "business" trip. Hmmmm!
Are you sure are those designer clothes you bought were original ones? It's one thing to pay alot for originals but equally quite another to pay alot for cheap imitations. I'd be careful.
I don't work for the Brazilian tourist board nor am I a cultural ambassador for the country and I am certainly not Brazilian (I lack the great looks and fit body), but it is such a fantastic place. I can't say enough good things about it (and if you push me I could come up with a few bad things).
I've been to visit over a dozen times (mostly vacation) and the places never cease to amaze me. You go from paradise beaches (practically anywhere along the coast), to tropical jungles, to sophisticated megalopolis life in Sao Paulo, to amazingly preserved and beautiful colonial cities (Minas Gerais) and to the physically most stunning urban landscape anywhere - Rio de Janeiro (sorry Sydney, San Francisco and Hong Kong -places I have visited - but you pale in comparison to RJ). And who can forget the music! And you take all this and populate it with the friendliest and humblest people on this earth (and the greatest partiers) - you have pure nirvana!

Tycoon, you should be an honorary Brazilian citzen, thank you for promoting my country.

About Fortaleza, yes, it's unbelievably beautiful and cheap, even for Brazilian standards. It's a 3 hours flight distance from Rio, and you can buy 1 kg of shrimp for 4 euros on the beach, bought directly from the fishermen. I was staying in a hotel with balcony, top floor, right in front of the beach for 20 euros a day.

It's never cold, because it's located almost on the Equator. But people there are not that good looking, but very friendly.

Tycoon, I was working, definitely. I work with e-government and IT, and one of the companies that develop software for the government is located there, that's why I was in Fortaleza. Worth the visit.
