Most Formentera beaches are nuddist or mixed (nudists and non-nudists coexist pacefully), avoid the big hotels area, es Pujols and the first bit of Illetes

I've very rarely felt self concious about bearing all on Formentera.

Providing you make a bit of an effort to get away from the port by hiring a car or bike you should be fine.

I felt a bit awkard at Cala Saona as nobody else was nude (but I hadn't brought my trunks and really wanted to swim ) and I felt a bit shy but everywhere else was fine.

Illetes towards the island of Espalmador is a lovely spot which the last time I was there was probably 60 /40 in favour of nakedness.

Mitjorn is generally very quiet and a great spot for getting all the bits tanned.

Its a very chilled island.
