Has anyone stayed here, i have been to Ibiza a couple of times over the years, but on a daft thought, used my tesco vouchers to book a week in San An Staying at the Above accom HB, in September 11, but then i have just been reading bad reviews all over the place. now a bit worried, lol,
so looking for some upto date reviews if possible, I have stayed at (What is now known as) Ibiza Rocks, and also at Mistral in Figeretas, so not worried about basic accom, never had a problem before,

It depends what your looking for, its very basic but its a bed plus room with ammenities. the bg issue with it is its rowdy all night ! as its so cheap its got a lot of groups etc. i went there on my stag do and it was carnage but ifs just a bed your after and you arent sleeping much anyway, then its spot on, particualrly location wise. 30 seconds from kanya and 2 mins from mambo. me, my missus and another couple are going there in june.
 
Thank you, yes will be just a bed, so shouldnt be too bad, I did try trip Advisor but was very negative, I have used it before for a different holiday and been wrong lol.

Turn up for the books,just talking about this place earlier....
Someone we know has just returned from there,stayed a week,all the usual noise and misbehaviour etc
Yet they survived and really enjoyed it! Even managed to have 'guests' to stay.
Obviously they had booked the Catalina (like most) but were relocated......like most.

Hi Tracy

I'll be staying there the week before you. Friday the 2nd. We get back on the 9th so I should be able to let you know before you go.
I thought the same thing after reading trip advisor but we decided to risk it!
Hopefully it won't be a big mistake.

I think that these so called 'advisor sites' are misleading reason being that over the years we've stayed in hotels which have had very bad reviews from holidaymakers and yet when staying in them myself and the family have had a great time.

Tomorrow i'll be starting a week at the azur coral beach hotel in es cana: trip advisor gives mixed reviews so i'm more inclined to believe the postives. In two weeks time i'm then stopping at a hotel on Malta which is the hotel riviera resort & spa 4* ofwhich this hotel has been absolutely hammered by people who have stayed their this Summer giving bad reviews on tripadvisor. But like i say such reviews can be misleading as i'm sure the majority of people who send in their views generally live very sad lives or don't get out much or just like a good moan for no reason.

Just enjoy your holiday and no doubt you'll be back on here soon letting everyone know what a fantastic time you had:)
