For your entertainment.............

Si! I have been to Aberdeen; for business purposes only, which is sad . I would like to go to the Scottish highlands for some photography sessions, and have a taste of some real haggis . One of my friends from high school attended your uni or Mech. Eng. before transferring to Warwick.

The highlands really are great in winter, especially if there snow covered 8) Cant really complain about Aberdeen as a city, lots of wealth so a very pleasant place to live :D

Lots of mates have done Masters in Mech Engineering at Aberdeen, and have subseqeuntly got very good jobs. You have to try this once...a haggis toastie, lovely 8) ;)

Our sports programs really are dire, nothing much to speak about. Typical in this country though :?

UNBELIEVABLE WIN!!!!!!!!!

I am officially the only American (not of Scottish descent) who really likes haggis

My university's football team sucked

But we won the national college hockey championship in my freshman year :D

Texas has a ridiculous team this year. I am just hoping CU makes a game of it. Sucks too, CU just cracked the top 25

How was your b-day party, sweets???

LOL a miracle would be in order, but anything is possible B lol.

B-day party was utter craziness... massive amounts of peeps on da bus. I was hammered and doing stripper pole acrobatics lol. Got to meet Steve Porter, which was AWESOME, he was amped and spun fantastic (from what I recall  ). He loved my outfit (I had the cover of his CD morphed on my T-shirt). I was soooooo drunk you guys lol. I fell like ten times on the way home hahaha. I couldn't tell if the bus was moving or if it was just me spinning hahahaha. I'll post the pics when I get more back.

Sounds like you did up your birthday right 8)
Glad you had a good time.

That's awesome Sara. Glad you tore it up, and had a blast of a time. Why are you a Texas fan, btw???? You should root for CU like me ;)

I am a Longhorns fan for a lot of reasons. Firstly, I just love the city of Austin... it is one of the finest cities in the US of A IMO. I would say THE finest, but hello, like I would ever dis MY beautiful city like that! ;) The people are just lovely, the family-oriented, down home southern atmosphere at its most welcoming... its so clean, has bountiful history and strength of pride, etc. Second, I love that college. I should have gone there... but I was a wuss about moving because that would mean losing The Diva of course lol. O the LAME decisions we make whilst younger and in love lol. Lastly, one of my best friends growing up was born in Austin, and I was infatuated with it from the moment she took me there. Its one of those places that feels like home when you're visiting. Just wonderful.

Austin is a beautiful city. I went there on a work vacation, but I partied it up a little bit while out there. The people are as nice as you can get, and the river flowing through the city looks amazing at night. I am just glad that OU sucks this year!!! I hate them and Nebraska. Both teams lost on Saturday too. You need to come to Denver/Boulder, amazing cities.

Boulder is nice. I could see myself living there if it were not for the cold. I got admitted to the Petroleum Engineering program at Colorado School of Mines, but when I compared it to UT, CSM lost out on many grounds.

It will definitely be a real uphill task for CU as they face us at our home grounds. Hook 'em!
