... how did you all meet? On the spotlight? Through friends of spotlighters? at a club? I have been wanting to ask this question out of curiosity for a while. Seeing the sticky about the London tragedy reminded me I wanted to ask.

The only person I have met personally from the site is LagunaBeachCA, we basically exchanged #'s and discovered we have a similar taste in music, then we met downtown at the Roger Sanchez show.

Most people I've met in Ministry. I can normally be found on the podium there for 7 hours on a Saturday night and people have come up to me and asked 'are you that Barbie from Ibiza Spotlight'

I've stayed in close contact with quite a few of them and we see each other most wkends.

I've met quite a few in Ibiza as well and a few at the first So........

Other than that, I've only met Russiangirl, who is new to the boards but through PMs we realized that we had run into each other at a cafe here in Moscow across the street from Club XIII (She came up to ask me and the missus when the party was getting underway).

I found out about this website from a friend of mine that goes by the handle Kneel. Originally, I used the site to get dates of clubnights and get familiar with the island for my big trip last summer. After I got back from Ibiza, my thirst for seeing other individuals accounts of their experiences got the better of me and I started posting replies. I am officially addicted now. Thanks a lot!!!

Without wanting to sound to sentimental, i would say I've met some really great people through So.... and other subsequent events.

A lot of people say meeting people in clubs can be quite fake and shallow because of the mental state most of us get into

However I would say I have made some good friends that I have met in both the clubbing environment and outside of that. For someone not living in London, it's nice to have a different circle of friends that you can go and see who fall outside of the local group I know 8)
