Back in the day, after a particularly messy night spent in Dave's Disco at Manumission while trying to detox, l happened to stop off at Restaurant called Can Bernat (a couple of hundred Yards on the opposite side of the road to Ama Lur)
Prior to this day in my life Ham had held no significance to me what-so-ever and had come vacuum packed from the supermarket. It was here at Can Bernat that l popped my cherry and for first time in my life tasted Jamón ibérico de bellota Gran Reserva in all its glory (Toasted bread scrapped with tomatoes, garlic, oil + salt never sure in which order) ever since that day l have been totally addicted.
Sadly these days l believe Can Bernat only cater for large events such as Weddings however Can Bernat has annexed a permanent place in my ongoing food fetish.
Now normally l'm base in Playa d'en Bossa so can always obtain my guilty pleasure from one of the many beach restaurants. However for the first time in many years I'm based in San An, very close to Es calo des Moro so was wondering if there was anything along those lines there?
I know San An has matured in recent years but think l may have to drive out to somewhere like Sa Tasca to get my iberico bellota fix...can you help?
