Don’t you just hate it when teenagers and scumbags take over on the latest fashions.

I just bought a pair of those leggings and was wearing them with a skirt and pumps.. I looked over the road and there was a big gang of 16ish old girls and common at that wearing the same thing. I had to run for cover..

thats the 1st and the last time ill be wearing them.. :x
 
There are so many gorgeous leggings about. Especially soft knitted ones. It depends how you wear them, then you won't look like the pikey youths ;)

Leggings got reinvented in about early 2000, you could say they became too mainstream last year.
 
i was gonna do a countdown till you arrived in this thread but that would've been too predictable......

OMG there are some scary leggings that seem to be in fashion in Ibiza.

Very weird ones with low crotches 8O

I picked up something (lovely colours) thinking it was a boob tube dress and it was a pair of these long john legging things!

I never base my outfits on what other people are wearing. I wear whatever I think looks best on me, whether it's cool or not :lol: and whether it's a popular fashion or not.

I normally get a few bits from topshop or some other high street shop and then go to a few vintage shops and mixed them together.

I did really like the leggings on but I felt I looked 16. then again on lunch I was out in the shops and everyone has them on.
 
Maybe its because I'm so short I just don't like them...but honestly, I don't see anyone over the age of 16 wearing leggings either... just not my thing...
 
Don't let that stop you, if you look good wear them.

Everyone wears trousers/jeans/skirts, etc. Leggings are just another item :)

thats the plan. I may also be attending Wiggle (Terry Francis & Nathan Coles) at the Comedy Cafe, 66 Rivington Street, Shoreditch Ec1 on Sat night, only a tenner to get in.

I haven't tried wearing leggings yet. I'm convinced they'll make my legs look short. :? I like them on other people though.
