Received an email this afternoon advising me that the Edinburgh-Ibiza flights from 26/9 onwards have been cancelled.
You have 3 options - either go to one of their other destinations, no extra cost (wow thanks!), do the Glasgow-Ibiza flight (see below about that!) or get a full refund!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I called them and got though as soon as I could. Our outbound flight is still from Edinburgh, but the flight is later (So no Miss Moneypennys closing party for us f***'s sake).
The return flight hadn't even been booked back to Glasgow and they said that they had been extremely busy and would only get a return flight IF there was space available, and considering that they had been very busy following this schedule change she wasnt hopeful.
WELL OH MY GOD I went nuts. That is a complete joke. Not only that we are travelling with our friend's daughter who is going with us for the first week of holiday, which means she will return back to Glasgow on her own at 5 in the morning - IF THERE WAS ANY RETURN SEATS AVAILABLE!
Anyway - I think the reservation agent was taken aback and she sorted me out in quick time although now I need to sort out our travel home.
We have another friend who was coming out on our second week, she has decided to cancel and I feel so bloody bad for her.
Now, could it get any better? Well its my other halfs birthday on the night we go out, and who Miss Moneypennys is amazing - so he is going to miss out on that AND he has been told today that there is no quarterly bonus for him - the first time in 10 years. It was going to be a big part of our spending money for hols!
