Flower Power @ Pacha

What's the music like at the flower power night? Actually what's the whole night like I general, do they have a show / dancers like the other nights? Theming in the main room? What's the age group like?

music - everything from john lennon to lynyrd skynyrd and then a tiny bit of house (think donna summer) towards the morning, but it's basically flower power sound - lots of 70ies stuff.

deco & dancers - the best deco of all pacha nights for sure. very nice, same goes for dancers. I mean it's every week the same so for us who live here it's not so exciting anymore, but if you've never seen it, it's really lovely.

age group - very mixed. from very young to very mature. I'd say it's the night with the greatest age range out of all them on the island. also very international crowd.

Cheers for the info. Reason I ask is that this years trip is a family holiday until a couple of mates arrive our 2nd week and I stay on for a couple of extra nights and the family go home :) kerching!!! Anyway I was thinking that this could be a good option for my mum who is young at heart, lively and a little bit curious to the whole club thing. Plan would be nice food in the restaurant as she does like a bit of nice food and then a wee nosey on next door to check out flower power and give her a wee insight into the party side of Ibiza. She might not want to stay for long but you never know, she might love it and want to stay for a bit and have a wee boogie.

Do you reckon flower power would be worth taking her too?

Cheers

I took my 70 year old mother last year to Flower Power - she hasn't stopped going on about it since........ in fact we're going again this year! I thought we'd be there for about an hour or so, but we ended up leaving at 4am! It got very busy by then and too much (it was august) but we'd had a great time. As for food in SE. I'd recommend Royalty I think its called on the corner by restaurant street?

Just a wee report back now that I'm home from my hols. Done the Pacha meal thing and then took my mum into the club for Flower Power, the theming and decor, dancers etc was probably one of the best I've ever seen at Pacha, top marks for that. The music was great with everything from Cher, Beatles, Elvis, Marvin Gaye etc, good time feel good music. Age group varied hugely from young to old, wouldn't hesitate to recommend this night to peeps who might be travelling with older mums & dads or on a family holiday. Lots of people had made the effort to dress up or have some sort of decoration on them like flowers in their hair, stalls selling stuff inside and at the entrance area to Pacha just incase you fancy getting into the flower power theme.

We didn't stay for too long, probably about an hour but at least it gave my mum the chance to see what clubbing in Ibiza can be about. This would also be a good night for couples where one might be into clubbing and the other not so much, chance to have a wee boogie & jive together.
