Hey all you beautiful souls! :) This September I'll be heading out to Ibiza for the first time! So excited!! I'm mostly looking forward to the epic closing parties! But being a newb, I'm not sure where to start. Any advice you lovelies could provide me with would be awesome! Looking for ideas for the best clubs to hit up, costs, if advance tickets need to be purchased. Also, tips on hotels/hostels would really be greatly appreciated! Oh and which weekend in September would be best? If that even matters? I did hear that the last weekend is best, any thoughts on that??

And I'll be traveling solo so anyone that'll be out there during that time, hit me up! It'd be nice to meet some awesome new friends :)

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read this! Again, any advice would be SUPER appreciated! :))

We went in September for the closing weeks that lies 3 week in September for the last 2 years.

2013 - fab weather, 2014 rained a lot. Some sort of downturn in weather apparently happens in this period ocassionaly. Can others suggest info in this. Stivi?

Closing parties, Carl Cox always has big names like Yousef, Marco Loco, tini, Sneak if you like your techno.

Cream Closing - usually Paul van Dyk plus other such as JOC if you like your trance mixed with a bit if Edm in the arcing room.

Looks like Hed Kandi closing this year at es Paradis would be nice if you like mix of funky, commercial house in a cool and funky club.

Solomun closing at destino offers a good daytime option this year.

As for tickets in advance. This is a personal choice. You will find most of the tickets will be more expensive when you get there on the island. However you can get deals once there too but they come at a compromise. For exame I have had free entry to es Paradis but only of you enter before 12. I have seen cheap deals on Carl Cox closing for 20 euros but once again have to be in before 11 so you would end up spending more on drink prices inside the club which are expensive.

I always buy before I go as you save the nots without any compromise on entry time.

I have stayed in a cheap 2 star accommodation called Central Park apartments in San Antonio and a lovely 4 star called the Bellamar in San Antonio and both were great little hotels in their own way. We are going back to Central Park this year and will still go back to Bellamar in future years so depends in you budget really. Maybe others can chip in with suggestions too.

I hope you have a great time in Ibiza. You will love it
