First trip to Ibiza, couple quick questions.

Hey all, nice forum you have here. I'm going to be making my first trip July 5-9 2005. Thinking about staying at the Anibal Hostel, is this place decent? How is its location relative to things like Cafe Del Mar and Space? I dont really feel like wasting cash at the clubs unless there is going to be a good DJ spinning. I will have the opprotrunity to go to clubs on Tuesday-Wed-Thurs-Fri night, what would you reccomend?

Any other tips or tricks I should know as a first timer?
 
Well dude its gonna be my first time around july with a mate of mine and all we have found out when posting on this forum, is to basically go with no plans, except where u wanna stay and go everywhere and anywhere :)
 
I would say go to cream on the thursday...especially if van dyk is playing 8)

And if your into your techno then you'll probably like meganite on the wednesday at privilege,check chris liebing out if hes playing

Tuesday nite there will probably be armada at amnesia,its armin van buurens night

depends what your into though....as you can tell im well into trance/techno :D i also like house but its more of a daytime thing to me 8)

I've actually been reading alot of posts, I more specifically wanted a answer to the hostel question as I searched and it was only mentioned once and briefly. If my asking for advise on clubbing in Ibiza on a forum dedicated to clubbing in Ibiza bothers you, please feel free to ignore it.

Ty for the advice, right now Im leaning towards going to Pacha,Amnesia and Privilege and perhaps just skipping Space altogether.
 
I've been to ibiza twice and not stepped foot in space and absolutely fell in love with ibiza still so i wouldnt agree with what broiler has said......but i am definately gettin over to space to see what all the hype is about this year :D
 
lee you're probably right, but I just can't imagine going to Ibiza without going to We Love...
Sundays at Space has to be about the best party in the world.

I've been to Ibiza 3 times....on my 3rd time last year I got to experience SPACE....out of this world....a must...to make your Ibiza experience complete.....

Highly recommended...I'm doing my 2nd Space Opening Party this year!
 
yeah i suppose once youve been there you just have to go again,just like i am with cream at amnesia :D ,im looking forward to checking space out and other places i havent been to yet....not just clubs but other places aswell....hopefully i'll get to with me working the summer out there...cant wait! and im sure i'll be paying loadsa trips to formentera sorry i just love that place with a passion lol!

I was under the impression that sunday was the day to go to space? is it still worth seeing if there arent going to be any good dj's?

good djs or not it always seems to rock on sundays.

ya but my whole point was that I cant go on sunday, I will be leaving on saturday unfortunately, maybe I'l save Space for my 2nd trip. :)
 
ive never been to manumission have not really fancied it to be honest and probably never will,dont know why but it just seems tacky,i got a flyer last summer and it didnt seem to have any djs names on it??
 
fully agree with ya manumission is good the first time u go cos it is different to most things you'll go to, but it is only really a novelty. I was just pointin out that the after party in space is better.
