First Timers: July 4 - 7th

Hey party people,

My girlfriend and I will be visiting the beautiful island from Monday July 4th to Thursday July 7th (Leaving in the afternoon). This is both of our first time at Ibiza and would love to meet up with people to party at beaches and clubs. We will be staying in PDB near Space.

This is our main itinerary right now (nothing is purchased yet):
  • Monday: As soon as we land my girlfriend wants to check out the Hippie Market and then I want to go somewhere where I can buy a couple of bottles of alcohol (anyone know of a good place?). We have to check into our hotel right after that in PDB. We'll be at the PDB beach afterwards. At night,
    we are still unsure, but we think EDX/Nora En Pure will be a great time at Privilege.
  • Tuesday: Carl Cox at Space, we are even debating on going to Float your Boat, but might skip out on the boat to rest up for Space.
  • Wednesday: Another toss up, there's no artist that I really want to see on this night..but we really don't want to miss out on Pacha. So we're thinking about seeing Martin Solveig at Pacha. During the day we plan to visit Ibiza Old Town.
Thursday we leave at 10am, hopefully we wont be too tired from Pacha the night before haha.

If anyone has any feedback please do not hesitate to guide us to a better time in Ibiza!!
 
We're staying near space too! I'd say on such a short stay you might want to skip the boat thing and give bora bora beach a checkout during the day instead, but up to you.

Buying alcohol there are loads of little shops around pdb where you can buy this for reasonable prices.

I'd say not to pre buy tickets before you land unless certain you're going as it's quite likely to change your mind after the first night :)

Yeah, I think Bora Bora would be the better idea also.

My friend who just came back from Ibiza said to pre-purchase all tickets in advance beacuse he said the price/ticket goes up. Do they normally charge more for tickets on the day of?
 
If popular event maybe, if anything I've experienced pre book online cost a bit more. Ive aways bought out there from one of the many ticket sellers either on the day or day before for popular events and never had a problem getting a ticket. Openings and closing events that might be different.

Also for events that are struggling to get numbers up you might find discount bands been given out on the day. E.g. €20 on door before 1am etc.

Don't expect that for Carl Cox nights, or ushuaia/Pacha but maybe for other events.

My friend and I will actually be there from the 5th-8th. Going to Carl Cox and Float Your Boat basically straight from the airport. Should be a great time!

Nah as we more into house trance edm. I've done Cox space closing few years ago and was decent, but like said we not so much into techno... don't hate us for it :eek::D

And I suspect you might get deal for Privilege although on Monday not sure if it's main room or the vista's club at the side, sure someone on here can answer that.
 
To be honest, we're not big techno fans either. But we've never seen Carl Cox before and, from what we've heard, his sets at Space are one of a kind. ;)
 
Good choice to see Coxie tbh, it's his last year at Space, so the party will go off. It's more about the atmosphere than just the music and Space know how to host a great party.

Ushuaia also chucks good parties and it's before any of the mega clubs open, definitely a sight to see before you leave.
 
Hey I'm from montreal, went to Dawson. I'll be there for the 4th time over same dates

Wednesday you should check out Axwell at Ushuaia if you like that pop / edm stuff
You should absolutely go to carl cox on Tuesday. Let me know if you want to link up, have a villa with mixed group. Just mentally process that cox might play 3am-8am... sometimes goes on early.
 
hello,, I'm coming to Ibiza solo on July 6th ,, I like the idea of Pacha tonight,,, would love to get to know people to party together
