First time/San Antonio

After wanting to go for years I am finally going to Ibiza a week on Saturday! Going for 3 nights all inclusive staying in San Antonio bay. On a budget of 300 euros which hopefully will be enough with free drinks at the hotel and hopefully cheap drinks at the west end.

Is the west end busy late September and are the bars/ clubs open late and reasonable drink prices?

Planning on es paradis on the Saturday we arrive is it ok to pay on the door? The pre party is at cafe del mar which says you can get guest list, does that mean free entry?

If we have enough money left hoping to do sankeys on the Monday and are we ok to pay on the door there and is there plenty of taxis about after back to San Antonio?

any answers / tips would be much appreciated

The west end doesn't get really busy until after 11pm I found. There are quite a few good places along the bay to drink at and so on. Taxis are like 7 euros from west end to long way around the bay, or 20-30 mins walk depending where you are in the bay.


I'd try and get to a "super" club one night if possible, amnesia, privelage etc depending what's on, well worth it!

Thanks, yeah just planning on using the all inclusive and chilling round the pool during the day then cafe del mar/ cafe mambo then the west end from 11 will do us but would like to do at least 1 main club if we can pay on the door?

Will the west end still be open and busy till 4am?
 
The west end doesn't close until 6am although last year it did close at 5am one night, apparently because it was a change over day.

What we used to do was pre-drink at the hotel and go out to the west end at about 11pm, do the clubs and bars there then roll back in to the hotel about 6-7am :)

Or if we was doing the sunset, go and see it at 7-8 (sunset is about 8-8:30 this time of year iirc) then west end.

If we was doing a big club leave the west end 12-1am. We found if you wander around the bay in the afternoon you'll get approached by reps giving out discount bands, tickets or the like. We got some good deals, but I do like to haggle lol

You can usually pay on the door at clubs but the wrist bands can get you 10-30e off the door price.

The west end all night will do for a couple of nights then will hopefully do a club the other night
 
Are u going on sat 13/9? Spend your day @ the pool then go at kiosk in front of plastik...during the day is full of guys and girls giving away flyers and wristbands

If u are lucky you will find for el row/kehakuma ( think is 15€ ) before midnight...and with marc maya hot since efdemin and oliva u'll attend a good party at a reasonable price...discobus is 3€ one way

The day after u can do the same for viva @ sankeys
 
Closed to the famous egg...promoters usually stay on the beachside walking on the sunset strip.....sometimes u can find them @ west end or cafe mambo too
