First Time In Ibiza, Lots Of Questions!

I've been wanting to go to Ibiza since I was way too young to, and now that I finally have the funds and booked the trip I'm trying to sort everything out. Looking for some recommendations from people who've been there and have a few questions. (I should add I'm an American and this is my first trip out of North America too!)

My trip is from September 12th-22nd. I'll be staying in Playa D'en Bossa at the Palladium (though a bit of me feels I should've went with something in San Antonio). Here's my schedule so far:

Connect on the 14th and 22nd (Huge trance fan)
Cream Closing September 15th (Been dying to see Fatboy Slim never comes to the US)
Giltterbox on the 16th - Have to see Basement Jaxx
Cocoon on the 19th - Sven Vath is also on my list, looks like a real cool party
Space Closing - Got my ticket but I'm wondering if I can get my hands on a boat party ticket on the island

I've also got reservations at Cafe Del Mar and Bambuddha and I'm looking forward to those. Maybe want to check out a couple cool bars and restaurants if there's any worth checking out that won't kill my wallet too bad. Got all inclusive at my hotel so I expect to do a lot of my eating/drinking there as well.

Maybe can someone recommend a couple more events worth going to (boat parties or something different maybe?). I've been considering ANTS, Sundays at Space and Zoo Project, but I'm not quite sure if it's my crowd though I'm pretty open minded.

-Can I use my US drivers license as ID to get into clubs or do I need to drag around my passport everywhere? (It's quite a bit bigger)
-I see most of the clubs open at midnight...about when is a good time to arrive and when do most of these end up getting full and then winding down? (Where I'm at clubs are only open from 10 PM-2 AM)
-Any good beaches worth checking out? Maybe somewhere nice to meditate or somewhere less crowded to watch the sunset?
-What areas should I probably avoid or things that are overrated? (I've heard Cafe Del Mar but I still want to do it for me)
-What should a dude wear? I don't need to be high fashion but I don't want to look totally out of place...

I'm sure I have more to ask and I'm really excited about my trip just don't want to drone on too long.

What space closing ticket have you got? It closes on the 2nd of oct and youre there till the 22nd of sept so somethings a miss. Re what to wear, just wear what you feel good in, i go out every night in t-shirt, shorts and trainers.

Cafe del Mar: Food 2016 is not worth eating... No more sushi, others are OK but not the price worth
Wear as u feel comfortable. No flip flops at clubs... (broken things on the floor)

Go2 clubs between 1-2. I find its not too packed and u can get in2 it and let it pack up round u.
Wear wotever...tshirt shorts trainers are my usual.
Ants is a great day and only thing id go2 ushuaia for

My UK driving license was excepted as ID at Space last week. I would have thought a US one would be OK. Maybe one of the US forum members can confirm this.
Where you are staying in PDB the beach is nice. Will you have a car/scooter to access other beaches or travel buy bus? There is a direct bus from PDB to Salinas which is a nice beach, but it can get busy!
It's worth keeping an eye on FB or Twitter as set times can often be posted. It may be worth arriving earlier or later if you want to check a certain DJ.
As others have said shorts/t-shirt is good for clubs, as long as you don't look like you have come straight from the beach you will be fine. Some clubs require long trousers for the VIP though.
Your schedule looks like a good mix of parties, as you are stayin in PDB maybe worth going to Bora Bora one day it can be good fun early evening, a good place to get warmed up for the night ahead!
Make sure you hit Ibiza Town you can get a bus from PDB.

Oops I wrote this while tired I guess...I have the Carl Cox closing tickets, not Space itself!

I was going to go by bus, which is another thing to figure out. I guess I could look into renting a scooter or car, though I'm not sure if they would rent to someone with a US drivers license? I need to get more info on the bus system. Thanks for the tip on Ibiza Town (couple people said that now) I've mostly had activities in San Antonio and PDB, I'll have to pop over there for at least a day.
