first post RE Camping In Playa D'en Bossa???

I've been to Ibiza 3 times, to PLaya D'en Bossa in 1994 & 1998, staying in apartments which left a bit to be desired. In 2001, sadly coinciding with Sept 11th, I camped in Cala Nova & had a really lovely 2 weeks amongst the hippies! Bit of a drag travelling to clubs though!

A recent search for campsites in Ibiza brought a return for a site in Play D'en Bossa. I cant find anything corroborating this return, anyone know any more?

Thanks in advance!

far as i can see nothing there on map.i do not know of any camp sites in pdb.might be wrong but i have never heard of any or seen any.atp are very cheap back end of season any way.mine you hotels are about the same.at least you will get a meal if you op for h/b.

yeah, seems so. I even looked at the Satellite view, nothing resembling a campsite nearby either.

I'm pretty sure the only campsites on the island at present are:
Cala Nova,Es Cana,Cala Martina,Cala Bassa and San Antonio, (public use)
vaguely remember hearing something about one near Port des Torrent, but never seen it ?

Yeah, me too... mind you, I couldnt find the Cala Nova site from satellite that I stayed in 2001, that def existed then & it's still be advertised in varous places. Hope it's still there!

So I think the general consensus is... Play D'en Bossa NEEDS a campsite... A sorta upmarket one, adults only shut-the-****-up at night sorta place...

Someone with a bit of spare land, a mile or so inland from the beach could start one up!

Anyway, thanks to you all for your replies & nice to meet you all :)
