Finding DJ sets

Hi all!

I'm a resident DJ in Shoreditch, London, planning on moving out to Ibiza early May.

I wanted to get some advice from other DJ's that have already been there and done that in Ibiza on the best way to get sets in clubs etc and any other relevant advice! All welcome.

Be prepared to walk about and play for free anywhere that has spaces, keep on asking everyday until they get sick of you asking.

Make sure you are playing music to fit the time of day (heard a boy in Itaca playing banging trance at 2pm in the afternoon two years ago and it was tragic, he was enjoying himself though)

Hand out free CDs to workers.

Make sure you have your Soundcloud up to date and promote to anyone you meet.

Don't just play the hits, make sure you are different.

Throw cakes at the audience or crowd surf on a large inflatable.

Stay in San Antonio.
