If anyone wants to watch a rather spooky little film for Halloween - you could do as I did last night - and watch 1408 - I was quite disturbed by some of it ...8O8O:oops::oops::oops:

If you want a really disturbing film, watch Dead Mans Shoes - I'm only just out of months of counselling for it!

just looked at the synopsis on that film - sounds a bit squirmy....:?:?:?
 
The actor who played the younger brother in dead man's shoes is the fella who plays Ian Curtis in Tramsmission.
 
On the subject of films, word of warning: Don't see Eastern Promises (which seems to be playing at every cinema in London right now...)Poor film, and quite a disappointment after the director's superior film A History of Violence

yes you're right, the younger brother plays Joy Division's Manager not ian curtis.

Co-incidentally, the older brother plays Joy Division's manager in 24hr Party people.

I am not a film buff, i just read a lot of sunday supplements :lol:

I havent watched any for a reason - gore is just not my scene, I saw Hostel at the cinema and hardly watched any of it I covered my eyes that much.

My friend tried to sell it to me as not so much gorey more twisted, yet I read up on it to prepare myself and it sounds awful.

Im hoping the glass of wine before the cinema knocks me out :lol:
