Figueretas

Hi

I'm thinking of booking an apartment for the last week of June in the resort of Figueretas. Although I have read the description on this site, just wondered if any of you could tell me a little more about the place?

Thanks all! :D

I stayed there last year @ Es Vive, we spent most of our time either round the pool area @ Es Vive or sunbathing down at Bora Bora.

I like Figueretes tho cos you are within walking distance of Space and Bora Bora in PDB and you can also walk into Ibiza Town.

The beach seemed nice enough altho we didn't use it, quite family orientated tho.

If we ate in Figueretes we tended to eat @ Es Vive, there seemed to be quite a lot of restaurants but they seemed your typical touristy places to eat but like I say we didn't explore them to any extent, however you have got Ibiza Town if you want a nice meal.

I really rate it cos you're right in the middle of everything but away from all the mayhem of being right on Bora Bora.

That's why I liked the sound the it. We stayed in Santa Eulalia last year, which was lovely but a bit too quiet and family orientated for a group of young people.

We want a mixture of a chilled out holiday, plus 2-3 nights of clubbing. And I suppose this resort is ideally located, but not slap bang in the middle of it.

Thanks! :D

Got it in one :D ;)

I've had a look at Es Vie and it comes highly rated. But they either do a tripple room which we don't really want or we'd have to reserve a single and a double. They want £900 for the single alone.

Hi,

My boyf and I have just bkd into the Sirenis Jabeque apartments. We have had to pay £677 each but it is for 2wks in peak season - we are going in August. I have had a look on the web and there have been some great reviews.

Hope this helps! :D

I'm staying there too!

Looks great. :D

Me to 18june to 3 july, stayed here last year its really nice and good mix of people. The rooms are very clean and quite big to with good views across to ibiza town.

The hotel is ideally located and after staying in fig last year dont thing id stay anywhere else.

p.s also just about 100m down from es-vive we used to go into the bar before going out and on the way home for a few drinks the staff were cool.

When are you guys going there?

I'll be there the first 2wks of August.

Sorry - I have just seen the dates!

Does anyone know if Oakey is out there this year?

No news as yet, Perfecto @ Pacha was RIP last year  and he just played a couple of dates @ Cream and Pure Pacha, I can't see him not appearing at all but I'd be surprised to see a weekly residency as he likes the lucrative American and Far East market these days

I know, I was there for Pure Pacha - I thought it was fantastic!

I have been out there for 2wks in August and for the closing parties for the last 3yrs - I just can't get enough of the place!

If I had my way me and my boyf would buy property out there, but I'm a little uncertain about jobs etc..
