I have just booked to go back to Ibiza in September (YYYYYAAAAAAAAYYYYY!).....I am going and staying in Fiesta Don Toni in
Playa D'en Bossa.... But because i booked at a different time to my friends i
have a single room.......Does anybody know what the hotel is like and the rooms? Stayed In Fiesta Club Playa den bossa last year......Is this similar?
Cheers

The Don Toni is more family-oriented than the Club. When I was next door at the Hotel PDB I noticed lots of babies staying in the hotel. It was very beautiful, with the terraces all slanted toward the beach. If you get a double for single use your room should be huge, a traditional single will be just as nice but small, one single bed. I think you'll enjoy it, and in September it shouldn't be too rammed. You'll definitely be getting your money's worth.

DO they regularly give double rooms as singles?

yes they do .i stay in the algarb.(so if your lucky onenight) wow....

i am having a free weeks stay in oct 2008,if i book direct with hotel its 44 euros a day.h/b,,but i have to send my book off the get voucher.i have been told by headoffice i only have to pay 32 euro;s.for the 2nd week of my hols.

but i have got to phone them to check i get h/b and a double room.

i have booked many times direct with hotel.and always get a double room.you have got a bit more power as well.your not a guest but a resident.

just make sure you are not messing about to much in rooms late at night or very early in morning when you get back from clubs.i got 2 germans booted out for that.well they was told twice to be quite.then then messed about coming back from space opening party in hotel bar.

so the staff told them to packed there bags and leave...no messing.they don;t mind fun during the day.buts its after 12 midnight rule they use.one written warning you get.any more trouble at your out.

You'd know when you book - the confirmation will tell you if it's a double for single use or not. It's popped up the two times I booked with the Fiesta Hotel PDB next door; if the hotel isn't too crowded you shouldn't have a problem. The first year I went I booked a double for single use but they gave me a single due to the hotel being sold out; this year they weren't sold out and I got a HUGE double room on the top floor, exactly what I requested. I got funny looks from the staff coming in at 6:00 AM this year from Pacha but they never said anything. I usually passed out on the beach watching the sun rise.

I have stayed in all the fiesta hotels the Don toni and den bossa have more older and family guest. I haved stayed at these hotels for the last ten years (algarb mostly). The hotel staff is used to me coming in during daylight hours in a state8O8O. If you keep the noise down you won't have a problem. If you want to change your room ring the hotel in advance, if they are not full they will give you a double room.
