Been checking out info on water partys at Fiesta del Agua and the getting mixed signals. The pics/vids look great but reviews are not so great. What are they like? Actually worth going to or not?

Also whats the practicallity factor of going to a clubs and taking swim shorts/or wearing them under jeans? And what do you do with ur dry clothes?

And finally, whats the prices like to get in when buying tickets on the island (if any 1 knows anyway)?
 
you get extremely mixed reviews on this one. I have enjoyed most of the Ibiza clubs (been to Space, Pacha, Privilege, Es Paradis and Eden), and they are all good for different reasons. I love the water parties at Es Paradis. The music is mainly commercial-ish house, the club is beautiful, and everyone is just enjoying themselves. The feeling when the water comes on is tremendous. I would do it at least once, as its not something you can experience at home.
I normally wear denim shorts when I go, and then wear them home. Walking home soaking wet with the sun coming up is also an experience :)
I think the water party was 20 to 28 euros last year, and the drinks are cheaper than other Ibiza clubs. A beer is 6 euros, and a bottle of water is 5.
 
Suppose it's like everything, different people will say different things. Since entrance isn't thru the roof and drinks are a bit cheaper it mite be on the cards. Just the idea of a water party sounds good to me thou. Cheers
 
Get yourself on the beach in front of Es Paradis during the day and 9 times out of ten promo people walk the beach giving out free wristbands to get in. I've done it twice now. They normally have an allocation of like 100 so its being in the right place at the right time.

Just thot to ask this there the now, what about footwear? What is accepted? i.e are flip-flops allowed or do u need trainners/shoes?
 
I head out from Glasgow on Friday afternoon. If all goes well i'll land in Ibiza around 8pm localc time. Can't wait now.

Just one week. Not entirely sure what nights we'll take in. I really fancied the Cream opening but that mite not be on so who knows. Prob see about the Manumission opening & Hed Kandi opening looks good. It's also 50/50 between Judgement Sunday & WLS the now. Need to see when i we get there. U going this summer? If so when?

Cancel that - i see u are in 13 days lol.

I went to thew water party in 2005 and was amazing - water dosnt come on till late around 5am but when it does it is amazing. So much water when we left it came up to my armpits and i am 5'11.
As for clothes - i would say shorts and vest top with flip flops is good - i wouldnt wear anything posh or you best as the water may stain stuff.
I would def go - also you dont get changed you go in in your clothes then walk home soaked its so funny.
You will have a wicked time, and es paradis is so amazing - all white.

Obviously depends on music tastes but I would recommend wls SO much more than Judgement sundays.I don't really like Eden as a club. It's like being in any club in Britain.
 
just got back from ibiza and was in es paradis on saturday night. it was 45 euros entry and ten euros a bottle of beer. filled up with water at 5.30 am and the place was fantastic. not been ibiza since 1994 and es paradis hadn't changed one bit in 13 years.
 
was that 45 euros for the water party. i didnt think it would be that much i was thinking of going but thought it would only be about 25 or 30.
 
We went last wednesday and got 2 tickets for 50euros from the bar acroos from Eden Rooms in SA. What a nite, outta this world. A massive build up for the water to come on then at half 5 it starts slowly. 15 minutes later it was up to my waist, amazing experience. Glad i went now.
