hi people hope your enjoying the weather

just a few things i want to know

how far is san an from ibiza airport?

we get in ibiza airport at say 4 am how long does it take to get all your cases etc ??


what factor sun cream should i use??

what is san antonio really like?? [the truth]

are the beaches in san an big??

is there any english food outlets in the resort??

sorry theese are possibly the daftest questions ever


but its my 1st time to ibiza

30 min taxi ride (might be a bit longer due to roadworks at mo)

we get in ibiza airport at say 4 am how long does it take to get all your cases etc ??

I've always got cases within 15 mins @ Ibiza airport, spose it depends how many other flights are coming in but 4am should be pretty quiet time.

Never ever use less than SPF15.

Depends what you're after - there's good and bad as in every place. The bad bits can be easily avoided.

are the beaches in san an big??

Not particularly, you can take a boat trip from the harbour tho to some much nicer beaches.

is there any english food outlets in the resort??

Lots - there's loads of the typical fast food establishments like BK and KFC :twisted: but lots of the bars/restaurants serve English style food if that's what you want.

Hi Andy,

I am going for the first time in a few weeks too but can answer these questions based on info available on the forums and from friends who have been....

san an - airport, not far about 20 minutes in a cab.
cases - not sure but at 4:00am shouldn't be long.
sun factor - i lived in portugal and was pretty brown for the full year but never wore anything less than 20. if you are pale where a good 30 or 35 and stick to the shade from about 13:00 to 17:00.
san an - is apparently still pretty boozy and chav filled. depends on the scene you are looking for really but according to many threads on this forum it is as bad as you think. try running a search and see what turns up.
san an beaches - not big in town, san an bay area apparently has bigger and nicer beaches, not far away.
english food - being born in england and now living overseas i am not sure why anyone would want this but yep, there's a few:D

when are you off to the island?

just to add my 2p's worth. and only really answering what San An is like.

whatever your taste, style, orientation, etc, etc, San An can cater for it......it has restaurants ranging from the greasiest holes to the best on the island, bars that range from the lowest of the low binge drinking dives to some of the most famous in the world and a mix of people who are all just looking to have a good time.

if you think you're not finding the right thing for you, then ask about and go looking off the beaten track to find it.

you will enjoy!!;)
