ferry to formentera

hi

id like to take a boat to formentera from ibiza, just for one day. do i need to take the car with me?? cos ive seen its a lot more expensive with the car. but if i will need the car well then i will take it.

which is the cheapest way to go?? in a small island-hopping boat or in one of the larger ferries

it depends on where ytou are on the island. I always take the ferry from the main ibiza port. Cheap and fast.

You don't need a car. you can hire a bike or moped on the far side as there are tons of rental places right by the ferry port in formentera. Just turn up with some id , credit card and driving license and you should be good to go. I always rent a 125cc moped to get around.

I doubt you get different information in here that the one provided on the spanish forum...
 
i know the info will be the same but i post them on both sites because there are people that dont speak both languages that may well have useful information
