Ferry Corsten

Am getting a second chance to see Corsten after missing him this summer when he was a guest of Judge Jules at Judgment Sunday. He is coming to "Big D" here and my friend LOVES Rock Your Body Rock. Basically my question is does he play this type music live or is it more trancey. I have the MIXER magazine mix from a couple of years ago from Ferry and it was quite trancey. I wasn't that impressed w/ the CD, but hopefully he'll be better live. Is he? :(

Saw him a month ago (for the 3rd time this year) and he was decent.

he played a mixture of melodic and progressive trance, with alot of his own productions/remixes thrown into the mix, and some classic cuts.

all in all he's a good trance dj (and producer).

if u get the chance deffinetly check him out, he is worth it. He is actually going to be in Vancouver Canada on Tues. 26th and I will be there for sure.....and it is only 10$

that was a quality night, i love ferry, he's so cute! he is an excellent producer, and he always looks like he's having fun when he's doing a set, unlike some other djs *coughpaulvandykecough*

he's soooooo cute!

Is that you then Candy? Very nice...... ;)

I really like Ferry, seen him a couple of times, if you like trance you'll like him. He was pretty hard on one of the nights, but then he was trying (and effortlessly succeeding) to out-bang Judge Jules.

yeah when ferry played at global gathering 2003 he played second last set to judge's last set and i thought it should've been the other way round. half the arena left after ferry! i've seen himplay so many times and every time is better than the last! and he just gets cuter and cuter!

yeah, thats me.

I was there as well! We all thought Ferry's set was one of the best ones that night. He played everything from melodic to techtrance. I had a good chat with him about music and Ibiza when he was in Edmonton about 8 months later. Great guy.

I'd recommend seeing him. Always enjoyed his sets.

and he's nice to look at :P

global was wicked that year, except for the rain and the mud bath

Everything was tented-Sorted (except the Ibiza stage).
I've been to some parties back home and some stages were not covered-Shocking when it rained.
Neil's an awesome guy and always does a wicked job for Gods.
Maybe I'll be able to make GG next year :D
