Once Upon A Night Vol. 2 comes hot on the heels of the ‘record breaking' ‘Once Upon A Night Vol. 1‘ compilation which hit number 1 in the US iTunes chart in March 2010.
The original was launched to accompany Ferry Corsten's “Once Upon A Night: The Experience†20 country World tour which began in March 2010. Both were so well received by fans and press that Ferry decided to up the stakes and release Vol. 2, just six months after the original.
Ferry explains: “After I released Volume 1 in March I was so overwhelmed by the enthusiastic reactions from both the fans and the press, that I decided to start compiling Volume 2 straight away. I knew it had to be just as good or even better than the previous edition.â€
Echoing the original CD1 of Volume 2 starts off housey with trance elements, while CD2 ups the pace with much more bang to your yang. Once again Ferry has also selected a mixture of the some well-known names and new emerging talent.

Standout moments on the first disc include Yuri Kane's transcendent ‘Daylight' and the haunting carousel vibes of Ferry Corsten presents Pulse ‘Festival.' Meanwhile Pulser pres. Luminal's ‘Sunstorm' and the melodic inclusions from Thomas Datt, Daniel Wanrooy, Klaus Gulart and ReOrder are the ‘must hear' tracks on CD2 .
Together the package is a worthy, if not better, sequel to the original and one that is a vital addition to any trance fan's collection. It's also a perfect soundtrack to compliment the ‘Once Upon A Night' show.
