Hello, I was wondering if anyones got any tips on getting a good deal on the ferry from the mainland to Ibiza, don't mind which crossing : )

depends when. if you book a while in advance you get a better price BUT in summer there tend to be lots of offers (passengers and car, that type of thing) from the mainland to ibiza (though sadly not vice versa)

Thanks, looking for the end of march, last time i came with my van i got a great deal, return in may for under 200 but this time it's looking like 200+ for just one way with car

Although I am quite a bargain hunter!!! It was the first time I came on the ferry to Ibiza with Balearia from Denia.
Is about 250 euros single usual then?
 
no idea - depends on how many people you are. the fare is for a car and then each passenger

ferry travel isn't cheap, it's a duopoly on the routes. i'm paying more to ferry to benidorm this summer than a flight!
 
We've just booked ours from Denia to Ibiza with a car, 2 adults and 1 child and it's cost us around 300 euros... and that's on the slow ferry at the end of March!!!
 
Ok, I must have got a serious bargain last time!! I will cough up the euros and stop bargain hunting, as it may go up!!
 
it explains on the website that booking in advance has a cheaper tariff. there are so many permutations in cost, type of ferry, type of accommodation, size of car, duration of stay, no. of passengers, when booked etc that it's impossible to say how much it will cost - it all depends!
