Amercans preferably since thats where im coming from) the layovers r like 8 hours...someone help out...whats the cheapest way to go also
im looking to go at anytime between june 16-29...i wanna go for an 8-day span within those days

Here's the thing I've found out... If you want a cheap flight you're going to have some crazy layovers. But it saves about $250-300 per person to deal with the layovers.

Here's what I found: If I wanted to leave from JFK and go to Ibiza without bad layovers the cheapest flight I ever saw was $880 going through Madrid. However, I got a flight from Philly (which is always more expensive than JFK for international travel) to London and then used GoFly from London to Ibiza, the price was under $650 in August.

So... either you pay out your ass for short layovers or you deal and save that extra $300 for your spending $ in Ibiza!

here's what I did- it will take me apporx. 18 hrs to get there, but it was alot cheaper than a shorter trip.

I bought a boston to madrid r/t flight for $780 off orbitz.com. Then I bought a one way flight from Mad. to Ibiza on aireuropa for $75 USD, and then I bought a one way flight from Ibz to Mad on spainair for $75 USD.
The total of $950 was cheaper than buying the whole thing together, but it will be a pain in the ass for me. It depends what you're willing to put up with.

I'm going Miami - Madrid - Ibiza. I had a layover of 1 hour, now they changed the flight and have to wait in Madrid for 6 hours :x :(

But it's worth the wait!!!! :D

At this point no matter how you slice it, it's gonna cost you about 900 - a grand to get there. Why fight the layover when you can go to Amsterdam (or any other city) for a day or two and then head to Ibiza from there. Buy two separate tickets. Your ticket from NYC - Amsterdam will run you about 700 and your ticket from there to Ibiza will cost about 250 - 300.
By the way, I'll be there from 6/25 - 6/29 if you want to meet up.
Good luck

From Boston

Im actually going to Italy for a week before clubbing my brains out in Ibiza.

However, for the return flight, I found that SpanAir gives awesome rates to Europe/Uk and from there British airways is your best friend, with the cheapest rates if you fly from Heathrow/London

How that helps, SpanAir is easy to deal with and worth the price.
