He's playing at Fabric on the 16th of November for a charity event too. (along side Mylo and Damon Albarn)
 
Grrr.. I'd go to that, but I'm coming on the 18th.

On a separate-but-related note, anyone heard of this group called the Long Blondes or something like that? The missus played me a tune by them last night and I thought, "could these guys BE any more of a rip-off of the Housemartins??"

I put on "Happy Hour" afterwards and all was clear. Fatboy & the gang should sue!
 
tickets are on sale from Thursday. Are you coming down for NYE as well or intend to come down on the day? Bring Khrissy if you can
 
We haven't really discussed it but I am sure we will come down on NYE. Khrissy and John will probably be down too.
 
I went to the last one a few years back

I have never seen

a) as many wasted people

b) as much pi$$ in the streets

in one place before or since

i dunno, those makeshift urinals at carnival take the piss (:roll: :lol:). it was like people were just pissing all over the place, there was actually no designated place to piss, people where just pissing left, right and centre. in fact, you were standing in piss as you pissed and worse still people were basically just pissing on you as you pissed.8O

It was utter chaos. I didn't even get to see Fatboy Slim! But it was amazing!

There were no toilets anywhere!! :twisted:

wasn't someone on here involved in the marketting of the shewee initially? i seem to remember an amusing thread many moons ago...
 
Just bought a ticket for this via my Brighton pals.

The perfect way to start arguably the best clubbign day of the year.

the questions i'm normally asking myself at that time are

who am i
where am i
how did i get here
and how did Gary Rhodes win 5 michelin stars

If Tom promises to help me answer these questions (again) then I will be up for a bit of Beach action

I suggest maybe having photos & streetmap print outs to hand
