FAO: Ibiza residents/gurus etc...

Hellooo all, I am popping over to the Island for a few days this month and was after some recommendations and ideas. Where can you suggest eating that will be open in Feb that does nice food but nothing too fancy, in these areas:

San Jose
San Antonio
Santa Eulalia

Also, is there anything cultural going on (fiestas/events etc) that might be worth going to, has anyone ever been to the Hippodrome, is it worth going to or indeed is it still there?!

Any ideas most welcome...

PS. Does Banyan Palace still do its special price buffet in the winter?
 
which few days? today for example is st. valentine's day, next weekend is carnival, and so on.

yes, banyan palace does have an €18 buffet
 
i have a feeling it's only thur fri sat.

it's carnival all round ibiza this weekend - did you not get our newsletter for february where we told you all about it?

main day is sunday afternoon in ibiza town - tuesday in san an and santa eulalia. when you're here keep an eye on the posters in the shop windows in ibiza town to get an idea of what's going on.
