FAO DJ's...(current set up)

Just wondering what your current set up is? I feel a change coming on but not sure what direction to go in (i currently use a kontrol s4 with traktor)..

i use Traktor Scratch with control vinyl. I have an X1 for effects / loop control. Dont like cdj's myself they feel like toys as opposed to turntables. Decision to go with traktor was mainly a financial one , couldnt afford to keep buying vinyl which is sad
 
I don't have a dj set up. I wish I had one!

If I did it would probably be a used turntables 1200's just one and two turntables to mix cd and a mixer... and decent speakers with a wicked pair of earphones.
 
I've got the following:

2x CDJ 400s
2x Gemini XL500 IIs
1x Behringer DDM-4000

They run through a hifi system, which is in dire need of replacement.
Amp is ok for the job, but the speakers are a 40 year old set of Wharfdales and the woofers are far passed their best.
 
I have:

Pioneer 800S CDJ X 2
Numark DMX Digital Mixer X 1 (this baby has served me well for 5 years now - will be like losing a brother when I replace it)
Kam Amp and speakers
 
I had it's older brother for years, the Numark DXM09, but replaced it for the Behringer when I got the Vinyl decks

X 2 KRK Systems VXT 6 monitors

All plugged through a Denon DNX1500 8 channel mixer. Gives me the flexibility to mix vinyl and digital as well as tiggering loops and effects etc.

Anyone suggest some decent carts for my turntables? The ones I've got on there aren't brilliant

I used to have a 1210 set up. Sold them on ebay for a song.

I recently bought (used but as new) a Pioneer DJ ERGO V. Hardly get chance to use it but it certainly does not have the same "feel" as the Technics or CDJ's. I wish I had the cash for a full media set up:(
