and he must have read that I have a HUGE phobia of them I have to walk over this Green in a morning where they congregate to get me
so I either have to take a 5 min detour round the shops so I can avoid them or if I'm running late I have to put up my big parka hood to protect me and walk really close behind someone else so they can't get me and flap at me and peck me 
If I'm out with Tom it's easier cos I just make him walk ahead of me and shoo them away (much to his embarrassment
)

But the owl imagery is a little out of place in this thread. We usually use owls to harass Grego, who has admitted a phobia of the nocturnal creatures.
