Hi guys
Thanks for answering my questions in advance..
We have been to Ibiza as a family 3 times, and ive been personally about 10 times, so know of the island well, but am now deciding on a new resort for summer 2018 family holiday ...
Our little one will be 8, and we all like to be on the beach, stay all inclusive, do boat trips, take the tourist train, people watch in restaurants, and go for wanders. The hotel itself needs to have a strong child friendly feeling with kids club, playground, kids pool etc. For anyone reading this post, we did find the PERFECT hotel for our needs, which was the Balansat Apartments and Hotel directly on the beach in Port San Miguel. Its soooo perfect I'm tempted to go again, but I think my Husband might disown me if I book a 4th returning trip there. Hence my research for a new resort.
My Husband and I have been to San Antonio and we have thoroughly enjoyed it as a couple but its a no for the three of us as we don't feel its right for our relaxed family vibe.
I'm unsure re San Antonio Bay, as Ive heard some great reviews about some All Inclusive hotels that way, but worry that there'll be the odd stag do or group of partygoers that have 'got the short straw with their choice of hotels, and have been allocated in the bay - but still will be crazy and loud'
Port San Miguel - been done.
SO in a nutshell I'm debating over:
1. Santa Eulalia - for the people watching element, and busy feel... Which hotel should be go for, as we are used to a fairly small family hotel, where you get to know everyone and make friends. Don't want a huge huge complex.
2. Es Cana - as we would like to go to the hippy market, and it seems nice, but wondering whether there is much more to offer here.
3. San Antonio Bay - for the amazing beaches, and being close to San Antonio so we could take a trip down to the sunset strip for an evening, and take advantage of the many boat trips on the port.
Have I missed any other amazing places to stay. I suppose our criteria is first and foremost the hotel needs to be on the beach and have a strong family vibe.
Thanks so much for your help.....
