Which one do you prefer??, i've been an avid simpsons fan for years but since watching series 2 and 3 of family guy recently i think i've had to change my mind.

If you;ve not seen the new series go and buy it, sooo funny.

got all 3 seasons of Family Guy. whereas the simpsons i think has that all round appeal, family guy is just so weird and ****ed up sometimes, its unreal! and much funnier than the simpsons.

I bought the Family Guy boxsets and they're funny ****, but nothing can ever beat The Simpsons, the single best TV show of my generation, bar none.

I've bought every boxset of the Simpsons so far, as they'll be cult classics in 20 years time.
 
Yea it has the family appeal (the simpsons that is) and i love Marge but family guy just absolutley cracks me up something silly.

I love Quagmire or however you spell his name. We have a friend like that (not you Chewie :lol: ) except he never pulls the ladies (again its not you chewie :lol: ). He;s just sometimes a bit sleazy and can just imagine him going ''Oooooohhhh yeaaaaahhh'' and then doing his little head thing :lol: :lol: :lol:
 
ooh, big fan of family guy but not seen all that many episodes.

Have to say though that the new episodes of the simpsons are absolutely class, completely random and hilarious, and the simpsons gets my vote for providing me with laughs basically forever
 
I agree with Stu, Family Guy is funny but The Simpsons I can watch again and again. In fact the only reason Ive got sky is so I can watch an hour of the Simpsons everyday

Funny that this topic got started because a friend and I were just talking about this last night at dinner. I was of the opinion that Family Guy has taken over the top adult cartoon comedy from the Simpsons. Simpson's has been around for years and I don't think a show will ever have the longevity that they have. But, the Family Guy is edgy and has better writing than any cartoon right now. South Park is way up there too, but I am biased since I am from Colorado, and Matt and Trey went to school w/ me at CU.
