Facebook under attack?

Many times over the past few days when trying to connect to facebook, it seems to be down. I am not a big user of fb, is this normal, or is the site under some kind of siege?
 
are you trying to connect via your phone /app or through a pc?

im not having any issues with facebook, working fine with me (through my phone app or phone brower...they did relases an update on the app for the iphone the other day, perhaps install that or check your internet settings.
